In general series (Men and Women) top 3 runners will be awarded, in age groups the winners.
There is also a series for Other gender.

Event
Race office and bib numbers
The race office will serve runners on the day of the event.
You can pick up your race number and do late registration for the event at the race office.
You will receive an email and a text message before the event with a QR code with which you can pick up your bib number. Please open this document before entering the race office and present it to the race office staff. You can also pick up your friends bib number, show their QR code as well.
There is race office for runner is located in Wanha Satama, Katajanokka (Pikku Satamakatu 3-5, 00160 Helsinki). The race office is open at 14:00-22:30 on the race day.
You can pick up your race number and do late registration for the event at the race office between 14:00-19:30 on the race day.

Bag storage
The bag drop is free for all the runners and will be located at the event area. Bag drop is open at the day of event.
All your belongings must fit in the special bag that you receive when picking up your bib number. You will get a sticker with your bib number from the race office, which you can attach on the string of the storage bag.
Equipment will be collected back against your competition number. Please do not lose your number after the competition until you have collected your belongings from storage.
Timing and timing chip
Timing is organized by chip timing. Timing chip is attached to your bib number. Each runner must attach the bib on the front of the shirt and it must be displayed in the front throughout the race. The bib must not be folded. There is no need to return the chip after the race.
Each participant will receive both a gross time and a net time. Gross time is the time from the starting gun, and net time is from the moment the runner crosses the starting line to the finish line. The official results will be based on gross time.
Time limit and cut OFF
Björn Borg Helsinki10 has a maximum completion time from the starting gun. The exact maximum completion time will be announced closer to the event. If the runner exceeds the maximum time, the organizer cannot guarantee the participant a completion time or a finish/drink service.
In order for the participants to arrive at the finish within the given time, them must be at the CUT OFF point within the given time. The exact location and time of the CUT OFF point will be announced closer to the event.
The start closes 5 minutes after the starting gun.
The maximum completion time for Björn Borg Helsinki10 is 1 hour 45 minutes from the starting gun. If the time is exceeded, the organizer cannot guarantee the participant a completion time or a finish/drink service.
In order for the participants to arrive at the finish within the given time, them must be at the CUT OFF point 55 minutes after the starting gun, at 21:25. The CUT OFF point is located at Kompassitori, the hydration station, at 5,1 km.
The start closes 5 minutes after the starting gun.
Hydration stations and finish line services
The 2027 route drinking points will be announced closer to the event.
Please drop all your rubbish at the drinking stations or bins and not along the route. Let’s keep the streets clean together!
On the way is one hydration station, at 5,1 km away, serving water and sports drink. At the refreshment stations, the serving order in the running direction is: sports drink first and water after.
Runners will be offered water, Vitamin Well drinks and other snacks from our partners at the finish line.
Hydration, along with other snacks from our partners, is also available at the finish.
Please drop all your rubbish at the drinking stations or bins and not along the route. Let’s keep the streets clean together!
Pace makers
Björn Borg Helsinki 10 has pacers for several of the most common target speeds.
The target speeds for the 2027 pacers will be announced closer to the event.
Björn Borg Helsinki10 offers a great range of pacers.
Pacers will run stable pace at the event targeting to specific finishing times. Pacers will help you to reach your goal or to maintain steady pace throughout your run.
In 2026, paces of pace makers are: 35 min, 40 min, 42:30 min, 45 min, 47:30 min, 50 min, 52:30 min, 55 min, 57:30 min, 60 min, 65 min, 70 min, 75 min, 80 min, 100 min.

if you withdraw from the race
Participants do not need to report their withdrawal. Please do not arrive in the immediate vicinity of the finish line with your race number if you have withdrawn from the race.
If a participant is unable to get off the route and back to the event area on their own after withdrawal, for example due to injury or extreme exhaustion, they must contact the nearest member of the organization who will arrange a return ride.
first aid
There is a first aid station in the immediate vicinity of the finish area and roving units on the route.
In case of first aid situations on the route, contact the nearest member of the organizing organizations that help can be directed to the right location.
Toilets and showers
There will be toilets near the start and finish line.
Rules
The Participant agrees to comply with the organizers’ rules and instructions on the day of the event.
Medals
Each runner will be awarded a medal and partner products at the finish line.
Also in general series (Men and Women) top 3 runners will be awarded, and in age groups the winners.
medal engraving
Would you like to immortalize the memory of your run on the back of your medal? You can do so at the medal engraving point, near the race office, in the finish area after the race.
The engraving cost is 15€ /medal.
Elite runners
In 2027 we offer free participation to the event for elite runners who have run under the given times in 2026-2027 season. The time targets for the 2027 Helsinki10 will be specified closer to the event.
The target times were as follows in 2026:
Men:
5000 m / 5 km: 15.45
10000 m / 10 km: 33.00
Half marathon: 1.12.00
Women:
5000 m / 5 km: 18.15
10000 m / 10 km: 38.15
Half marathon: 1.22.00
To apply for a free registration as an elite runner, please send us an email to tapahtumat at runhigh.fi with details about your qualifying result (name of event, your time, link to results). The result must be from an official road or track race.

You can pick up your bib number and race kit from the race office on race day, read more in the event info.
Email with race number will be sent to all the registered participants before the race office opens. If you haven’t received the email (remember to check you spam folder as well!), no worries! Race office will find your number also by your name. Just show up to race office to pick up your number, and we are ready to help 🙂
